У цьому навчальному році  мої учні приймають участь  у міжнародній освітній програмі  IEARN   і працюють над проектом  “Don’t Waste – Create”

Метою данного проекту є формування  активної  життєвої  позиції

учнів, поваги  до природи та захист  навколишнього середовища

DESCRIPTION

The aim of this project is to awake more consciousness among students about resources, recycling, and avoiding waste.

GROUP CONTRIBUTIONS TO OTHERS AND/OR THE PLANET:

Reducing and avoiding litter, saving energy, learning how to use wild plants
cooking with leftovers, creating gardens on city pavements, composting household and garden litter to gain soil for planting. All goals contribute to reach the UN Sustainable Development Goal 15

У цьому навчальному році  мої учні долучились до міжнародної освітньої програми IEARN. Ми вирішили прийняти участь у проекті  Holiday Card Exchange

Title: Holiday Card Exchange

SUMMARY

Classrooms explain their holiday traditions by sending cards to their partners around the world.

DESCRIPTION

Teachers and students prepare an envelope with holiday cards to send to the other participants between October - December. Students may send Chinese New Year, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or Eid greeting cards or cards that show local celebrations during December or January. Each school will be placed in a group with approximately seven other schools and will prepare either handmade or purchased cards (decorations may be included) to send to each of the other schools.

5-11 (Primary), 12-14 (Middle), 15-18 (Secondary)

DATES

Registration from August 22 2016 to October 31 2016 - Project dates: September 2016 - January 2017

POSSIBLE CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES

Stage 1 - Preparation of cards - August 19 - November 8
Students prepare and send cards to their seven partners. (Optional: Students may organise activities to raise funds to cover the cost of materials and postage.)

Stage 2 - Communication online with partners - November 1 - December 31
Classes send information about their school, country, cultural activities, recipes and photos related to their celebrations in the December and January to each other online. Students may post messages to each other in the Holiday forum and ask questions about their new friends in the partner schools. Teachers may arrange video conference with partners.

Stage 3 - Completion of project - December 15 - January 31
Classes receive cards from other countries and prepare display in home school.

EXPECTED OUTCOMES

Each classroom will receive an envelope with cards from a number of different countries and will be able to make an exhibition to show their school community. Students will learn about holiday traditions in other countries.

Help students understand more about other countries' culture and traditions.
